BURLEIGH HEADS SOCCER CLUB

ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (ADP)

 

 

Burleigh Heads Soccer Club, in conjunction with Soccer-X, offer an Accelerated Development Programme (ADP) with teams in all age groups from U8 – U18’s.

 

OVERVIEW FOR 2023 SEASON

  • Accelerated Development within a positive & professional environment
  • Professional & Structured program run by experienced coaches centred around the ‘players’
  • Development over winning philosophy offering the players the freedom to express themselves & play without fear

U8-U10’s

  • 2 x 60 minute training sessions per week with a professional Coach
  • Home games coached by a professional Coach
  • Away games coached by a parent volunteer who works closely with the professional Coach
  • BHSC playing strip (inc. playing shirt, training shirt, shorts & socks)
  • BHSC jacket and bag
  • Additional friendly games throughout the year
  • Option to play in local carnivals / tournaments
  • 20% discount to all holiday clinics / off season training programmes

U11-U18’s

  • 2 x 75 minute training sessions per week with a professional Coach
  • Home games coached by a professional Coach
  • Away games coached by a parent volunteer who works closely with the professional Coach
  • BHSC playing strip (inc. playing shirt, training shirt, shorts & socks)
  • BHSC jacket and bag
  • Additional friendly games throughout the year
  • Option to play in local carnivals / tournaments
  • 20% discount to all holiday clinics / off season training programmes

 

PROGRAMME HISTORY (2018 – 2022)

  • 85% + player retention
  • 20+ players have progressed to NPL teams
  • Multiple finals appearances for competitive age teams
  • Notable development of all players / teams
  • A positive and enjoyable culture created among the Club, Coaches, Players and Parents

 

HEAD COACHES

  • Justyn McKay (ADP Head Coach) – UEFA B Licence; current Captain of Gold Coast United Men’s NPL team
  • Sam Smith – UEFA B Licence; 2022 Co-Captain of Gold Coast United Men’s NPL team
  • Conor Smith – UEFA C Licence; currently plays for Gold Coast United in the NPL
