PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

There will be upcoming opportunities for players to be called up to play in age groups above theirs, within Clubstream or Development teams. These opportunities come about due to shortages through injury/absence/illness, or where performances cannot be ignored and are deserving of a promotion. Training attendance and effort will also form part of this.

The call up to an older age group is of major developmental benefit to the players chosen, and an exciting moment for the child.

We strongly support this initiative, and have faith our coaches will select the right players for these roles. If your child is selected, depending on that day’s fixtures, it may be possible to play both games or only the older age one. At no time will a team be left short of players due to this

These tend to be one off games but performances will be taken note of and further opportunities await.

Club Player – FGC Minroos Competition

Under 6’s & 7’s – Little Doggies

  • Training 1 Night per week (U6 Tuesday, U7 Thursday) with SoccerX Coach
  • Volunteer Game Day Coach and Manager
  • Extra Training night requires Club Coach Approval
  • Game Day – Saturday. Home and Away season against other clubs
  • Full Kit to Keep. Socks, Shorts & Jersey.

Club Player – FGC Miniroos Competition

U8 – U11

  • Graded by Club Coach and Panel at beginning of season according to FGC Miniroos structure. Ie Kangaroos, Wallabies, Joeys
  • Coached by Volunteers
  • Training 1 x nights (Tuesday or Thursday) per week. Second night at Club Coach’s discretion and availabilty of training area.
  • Game day Saturday mornings
  • Skills Training sessions provided by Club Coach throughout the season.
  • Full Kit to Keep Socks, Shorts and Jersey.

Club Player – FGC Junior Competition

U12 – U18

  • Graded by Club Coach and Panel at beginning of season according to FGC Junior Competition structure.
  • Coached by Volunteers
  • Online Team Sheets – Volunteer Team Manager
  • Training 2 x nights per week (Tuesday and Thursday unless otherwise approved by President or Secretary)
  • U12 – U14 Game Day Saturday mornings – Sundays reserved for catch up games
  • U15 – U18 Game Day Friday nights – Monday Nights reserved for catch up games
  • Skills Training sessions provided by Club Coach throughout the season.
  • Kit to Keep Socks, Shorts. Playing jersey provided by club but remains Club property and to be retained by Team Manager at all times.

Development Teams

Development Stream Player – FGC Miniroos Competition

U8 – U11

  • Graded by SoccerX at beginning of season according to FGC Miniroos structure. Ie Kangaroos, Wallabies, Joeys Division
  • Coached by SoccerX
  • Training 2 x nights per week
  • Home Game Day Saturday mornings – Coached by SoccerX
  • Away Game Day Saturday – Coached by Volunteer Game Day Coach/Team Manager
  • SoccerX to provide Tuition, Advice & Support to Volunteer Game Day coach.
  • Full Kit to Keep Socks, Shorts and Jersey.

Cost $490 in addition to the age group costing

U12 – U16

Coached by SoccerX

  • Online Team Sheets – Volunteer Team Manager
  • Training 2 x nights per week
  • Home Game Day Saturday mornings – Coached by SoccerX
  • Away Game Day Saturday – Coached by Volunteer Game Day Coach/Team Manager
  • SoccerX to provide Tuition, Advice & Support to Volunteer Game Day coach.
  • Kit to Keep Socks, Shorts. Playing jersey provided by club but remains Club property and to be retained byTeam Manager at all times.

Mid Week Metro

Club Player – FGC Senior Competition

  • Coached by Volunteers
  • Online Team Sheets – Volunteer Team Manager
  • Training 2 x nights per week at Volunteer Coach’s discretion
  • Game Day Wednesday Nights
  • Kit to Keep Socks, Shorts.
  • Playing Jersey provided by club but remains Club property and returned at end of season.

Premier League Reserves

Club Player – FGC Senior Competition

  • Coached under the direction of Colin Phelan
  • Online Team Sheets – Volunteer Team Manager
  • Training 2 x nights per week at Volunteer discretion
  • Game Day Saturday afternoon
  • Kit to Keep Socks, Shorts and Game Day Polo Shirt provided.
  • Playing Jersey provided by club but remains Club property and returned at end of season.

Premier League

  • Playing Jersey provided by club but remains Club property and returned at end of season. Includes $50 Raffle ticket book which you can recoup by selling the tickets.

Sibling Discounts $100 – per child

Your registration fees help cover the following costs:

  • Players Kit (Shorts, Socks, Jersey or Polo) to keep
  • Football Federation Australia (FFA) player fees
  • Football Queensland (FQ) player fees
  • Football Gold Coast (FGC) player fees
  • Football Gold Coast (FGC) Team Registration Fees
  • Player Insurance
  • Referee Fees
  • GCCC Right of Use (ROU) Fees (the club must pay fees to the GCCC to use the fields)
  • Building Lease/Rent to GCCC for the Clubhouse and Team rooms
  • Electricity and expenses for the clubhouse
  • Field lighting
  • Clubhouse cleaning and maintenance expenses
  • Administration and General Insurance
  • Field marking & lining expenses
  • Coaches Kit & Equipment purchasing and maintenance (balls, bibs, cones, goals etc)
  • Coaching Fees (all teams receive at least 6 Professional Coaching sessions throughout the season)
  • End of season Trophies and/or Medals for each player
