Registrations for 2023

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER IF YOUR SON/DAUGHTER IS TRIALLING FOR ADP UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED WRITTEN CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN OFFERED A SPOT.

 

All BHSC registrations for 2023 will be completed through Sign on Day and PlayFootball.  You must complete both registrations for your registration to be active.  To register please go to Sign on Day first.  Once you have completed your registration and payment through Sign on Day you will be redirected to Play Football.  Below is a graphic explaining the registration process through Sign on Day.

Burleigh Heads Soccer Club offer a $100 sibling discount.  If you are a family registering more than 1 child, you will automatically receive a discount when you are processing your payment.

Just a reminder – the QLD Government have the FairPlay voucher program where families can apply for a $150 voucher to use towards registration fees.  BHSC is a registered activity provider and can accept these vouchers.  For more info please click FairPlay Program.  You would need to complete the FairPlay program application prior to registering with BHSC.

We will have an Open Day for all new and existing families on Saturday 4th February.

The first games for the season are scheduled for 17/18 March.  Training will commence in mid February so training schedules will be released in the coming weeks.

 

Club Stream Players – Miniroos (U6 – U11) and Juniors (U12 – U18)

Our youngest Burleigh Bulldogs, U6 and U7’s, train once per week.  Our U8-18’s Club stream players enjoy twice a week training sessions plus approximately 20 scheduled weekend games.  The Club stream teams are coached by a parent volunteer.  All of our volunteer Coaches are offered Skills Coaching Courses throughout the season and have the ongoing support of our Technical Director, Paul O’Brien.

ADP Players – Miniroos (U8 – U11) and Juniors (U12 – U18)

The U8-14’s ADP players are coached by professional qualified coaches from Soccer-X, under the guidance of the ADP Head Coach, Justyn McKay.  The U8 and U9 ADP players have 2 x 60 minute training sessions per week have U10 – 16’s have 2 x 75 minute training sessions per week.  All home games are coached by the team’s professional Coach, and away games are Coached by a parent volunteer who works closely with the professional Coach.

In addition to the weekend competition, our ADP players are encouraged to participate in local Soccer Carnivals throughout the season.  For more information about the ADP please click here.

Club Stream and ADP – Goalkeeper Training

Burleigh Heads Soccer Club offers all of our Miniroo and Junior players the opportunity to participate in goalkeeper training sessions with a Qualified Goalkeeper.

Men’s FQPL3 & FQPL3 U23’s

The Club is very fortunate to have Colin Phelan as the Head Coach for our Men’s FQPL3 team.  The 20+ year coaching veteran, and multiple Gold Coast Premier League winning head coach, has agreed to extend his stay and lead the Bulldogs for the 2023 season.

Our FQPL3 U23’s Coach is Jeff Campbell.  Jeff played professionally for New Zealand.

FQPL4 & FQPL4 Reserves

Our FQPL4 Coach is Willy Alvero.  Willy has Coached at Burleigh Heads Soccer Club for the last few years in the Junior age divisions and is looking forward to taking on the senior team for 2023.

Men’s Community and Women’s Community

The Men’s and Women’s Community teams play in the local competition.  The men’s league is on a Wednesday night and the ladies play on a Monday night.  If you would like to find out more information about playing in the local Metro competition please contact our Senior Vice President, Simon Wade.

Gold Coast Masters – over 40’s

Gold Coast Masters is the Gold Coast Premier Football Competition for players aged over 40.  The Gold Coast Masters competition is played each Wednesday Night from February through to October at the Burleigh Heads Soccer Club.  If you are new to the Gold Coast and want to engage in some fun, friendship, fitness and football then why not come along?  For more information click on this link.
